How often prices are updated
Prices on the board are refreshed daily.
A scheduled job checks the product pages we track (Homefire Ovals, Homefire Brazier, classic Homefire, Supertherm, Oxbow Excell and Oxbow Red). When the price, pack size, or availability changes, a new row is written with the date and the exact URL checked. If the price is unchanged, the date on the current row is updated so you can see that it was checked.
The public page is rebuilt from the latest valid snapshot for each product/supplier/pack combination. You will always see a “prices checked” timestamp.
Daily is the current cadence because fuel prices move, but not every hour. If a supplier changes a price between runs, the board will catch it on the next cycle. We keep the full history so large moves can be reviewed later.
If a scrape fails or a page layout changes, that product is held at its last confirmed price and flagged internally until it can be verified again. We never fill gaps with guesses.
