About Grateprices
Grateprices is a UK smokeless-fuel price board. It shows the fuel, the supplier, the pack, the price and the £/kWh, so a bag and a pallet can be compared on the energy in them.
Data rules
We do not invent prices. Every figure is dated and linked to the page we checked. Delivery stays in its own column. Packs under 100 kg and packs of 100 kg and over are ranked in separate tables. How we work out the cost per kWh is the full calculation, including where the calorific values come from.
Affiliate links
Some links on the board go through affiliate programmes. If you buy through one of those links we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. That support keeps the site running. Affiliate status never changes the ranking, and affiliate links are marked on the row.
Updates
Prices are checked daily. How often prices are updated explains what happens when a price is unchanged and when a check fails.
Grateprices is not a shop and cannot place an order. A wrong price or a missing offer can go through the contact page.
